Looks like a stonefly larva to this biologist, but I'm nowhere near knowledgeable on Spanish Flies.

Sorry, could not resist.
This one is an Australian one Kirk. I cant claim any knowledge of those either but I do know that many beasties from Australia are fairly poisonous.
