Taking off filters does have an impact. The fuji xp1 eliminates one of the main filters that is on all of our dslr's and it's really really sharp. Still... How sharp is sharp and at what point do you just emphasize the small amounts of dust on the sensor rather than the image??? I'll hold off till I see some Leica results - they usually do impressive stuff - but I have a hard time thinking that shooting raw and converting to BW isn't the ideal way for us to stay Tom
