Welcome to the forum Mary, not totally sure you have come to the write place but will do our best to help... My father always tried to instil into me not to use two words where one will convey the message adequately. So that's my first tip, in other words don't pad the essay out just to make it seem more, that won't impress the reader. As photographers we sometimes lack inspiration, a regular suggestion on this forum is to go to a bookshelf, select the fifth book from the left and open it an a random page, scan the text and make a photograph connected with what you read. You could try something similar or try writing about your favourite pastime? Oh, and maybe try to make it funny (but not silly)? Remember your tutor will have read many boring essays, yours needs to stand out.
