No, no filter, it's the one lens I have which SHOULD have a filter on it.
It get used in the workshop and subject to all kinds of abuse. It's my best IR lens, was. Nes has another waiting for me I just hope it's as good for IR as this one has been.Given the filthy condition and the two heavy scrapes the eBay sellers oft repeated claim that it doesn't seem to affect the images holds true. The only time I have really noticed any detriment in an image has been pointing the lens towards the Sun. It exhibits some interesting flare and rainbow effects!
