It's almost like a bifocal/parallax effect....can't remember the right term.


Looking at it now I think a graduated adjustment to reduce the exposure on the leaves would help, I was looking through the trees, not at the wall and leaves.

The moon has me mystified. I don't think its camera movement, BUT thinking about it, he was hand holding the camera for that shot I think, if the camera moved after the flash then the moon was bright enough to make it's own exposure in the time the shutter remains open but there is no movement blur... o.O

I don't think the D3300 has the ability to make double exposures, if it does I don't expect it's something you would do accidentally. The only way to prevent the flash going off is to hold it down! Chris used some gaffer tape when we were on Skye.
