I agree with Eric. Jan or Judith may be able to give you specific advice on locations.
You must go to see the Kelpies, especially at night as they get lit up. It is on my To Visit list when I am next in Scotland.
Kelso has the original models (1/10 size) for the final structures in the market square. They are big enough...but the final ones are huuuuge.
