Thanks JK, will give it a whirl.

I tend to process every image separately, although I have to admit I have started to use Lightroom's 'Synchronise' function, especially for time lapse sequences, get one image right, then sync the rest, much easier when there can be 350 to 1,000 frames to process.

I am still keen to do a long time lapse of weather, clouds forming from the hills and rain falling maybe even for 24 Hrs, which calls for human intervention because I don't see any way of allowing the camera to achieve the range of exposure needed to cope with night and day, on it's own.
