I am very interested as it my solve some of the noise problems I am getting with the D810 in poor light. I will wait till the first reviews and the must have it rush is over and prices settle down.
I have not used XLD cards myself but a sports photographer friend with a D4S said they are very fast and had no failures compared to CF cards. They are also a must have if you do video with the camera.
So, are you saying that the old wisdom of ...the smaller the pixels, the poorer the low light quality....is still correct?
