Looked at the Nikkor 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens sample images

Wasn't that impressed with them, even with the full sized downloads from Asia.
Would suggest holding off on this one until some indepth reviews are posted.
Nikon's Phase Fresnel (PF) lens is an interesting development but reducing chromatic aberration may have caused other problems such as resolution loss.
Thanks for that....just been asked about this lens by a birdwatching friend and I had to say I didn't know much about it. Will pass on this info.
