I do not own either, but I have handled/used both on occasions.
On the recent 20mm 1.8.
I cannot see the use of a f 1.8 aperture, 2.8 would be enough for many people.
On the other hand, compared to the (famous) 14-24 the 20 1.8 is compact, light and more affordable.
Compared to most zoom lenses, distortion should be a lot less.
