One of the interesting features of Yosemite seems to the it's ability to retain existing settings no matter how obscure, I always use dual monitors, at first with Mavericks I found I had a Menu Bar and Dock on my second monitor, somehow they disappeared ( I didn't want that anyway). When I installed Yosemite it held the same, no Menu Bar or Dock on the second monitor.

When I did a clean install having completely wiped the drive on my son Michaels Mac mini which also has dual monitors, that now has a Menu Bar and Dock on the second monitor when previously it didn't. o.O

I can't find any way of getting rid of them.
