Robert- I agree on translucency - I turned that off immediately iCloud doesn't require me to log in with my Apple ID, it requires that auto login to the mac itself be turned off (or I missed something). Do you use Auto Login on your mac? I leave my macs on auto login except when traveling and don't find iCloud compelling enough to change that behavior Seems like Apple is going over the top on required users security (better than under doing it but they are now in the stage of over-reaching and creating a nanny operation...IMNSHO) I have about 9 months to go on my DropBox subscription and I am in no hurry to test iCloud with important files... I will probably move to it eventually, but DropBox has been bullet proof (as has Copy ) so I want to be sure there are no growing pains with a new service like this. Tom
