Most of Yosemite is either "under the hood" or cosmetic.

The biggest thing I see that I love is the ability to answer a phone call on my iMac...very nice.

iMessage works much better...much better.

iCloud drive sounded like an interesting alternative to DropBox but I turned it off once I realized it REQUIRED user login each time you started your mac...NOT! I'm sure there will be a workaround for that...

I think the handoff feature SOUNDS the coolest but is the least likely to use feature in the whole magilla...at least for me.

More importantly, iOS 8.1 seems to really make all the iOS devices work together so much better...

Not really thinking I'll be using the Photos app at all...removed Aperture and iPhoto completely and have settled in with LR as my go-to photo app (of course I use "edit in" PS much of the time, but everything starts and ends in LR now.

I wasn't afraid of jumping on Yosemite...with a million beta testers, I didn't think there was much risk and there hasn't been anything serious or even alarming in the whole upgrade.
