My expectation is Photos will be fairly dumb software, aimed at 'the masses', consumers, to enable them to share their photographs with friends and family. The practicalities of subscribing for large volumes of storage necessary for enthusiasts, let alone professional users are not realistic. I have well over 200Gb of still image data, I expect many photographers will have Terabytes of image data. Apple simply don't have the structure (or pricing) in place to handle that sort of volume. Not sure Adobe has either but that's another topic (although CC. users do get 20Gb of Adobe Cloud space for image storage). Seems to me this will force a greater divide between the 'snap shot' photographer and the serious, or pro photographer.
