I have just bought a Samyang 8mm f2.8 in Fuji X mount to give me super wide that the Fuji 14mm doesnt provide. My total Fuji kit fits in a LowePro Mini Trekker whilst my Nikon equivalent doesnt fit in two LowePro Trekker Aw backpacks which are twice the size of the Mini Trekker. Like you I will think very hard before buying a D400, in fact I'm more likely to buy a D5300 first!
