I don't think a manual would help Rick, Look at your image and think what it needs.

If it needs cropping, do that first, then hit return and it's cropped.

Look at the histogram, if it's all to one side then it may need levelling, try auto levels, if need be drag the levels by hand and see if that improves the image.

Then work down the sliders one at a time, working from the top, carefully adjust each slider to see if that improves the image.

You will learn far more by experimenting and trying different setting than you will from reading a manual.

Remember with Lightroom you can start over by hitting the reset button.
