Rainy day, as opposed to snowy day :~). Started tinkering with the adapter and was able to move it in about 20mm, enough for infinity focus.

It works BUT the lens is not as sharp as the 28-300 f/3.5-6.3 Tamron that I used as a comparison focal length :~(

Very few uses for this setup, perhaps tabletop still lifes that need swings and tilts.
